This is my master plan.  All 36 weeks are planned out before I begin the year.

Then I make a detailed weekly checklist that will be kept in the student's folder for them to refer to and check off as they complete assignments.  I make six weeks at a time.

 I also label every page they will complete during the year with the week number it will be completed in.  For instance, all of the math pages that will be completed during week 1 have the number 1 written in pencil in the corner of the page.  This helps when making detailed schedules and keeps us on track.

I enjoy doing this for the most part.  I sometimes dream about getting a boxed curriculum that already has everything planned out for me, but I am a bit too controlling and want it my way.  Plus I can tweak and reprint all I want during the year.  You can't do that with someone else's schedule.
